Sustainable Development Goals

Tecnópole aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), which are a universal call for action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of people all around the world.
In 2015, every UN Member State endorsed the 17 Goals as part of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, which establishes a plan to reach the Goals in a 15-year period. The year 2020 marked the beginning of a decade of ambitious actions aimed at achieving the Goals by 2030.
Within the scope of the scientific-technological dissemination, Tecnópole, by means of all of its scientific dissemination activities, mainly focuses on the need for action to empower women and girls and grant a high-quality education.
Tecnópole has a wide experience in scientific dissemination due to the activities developed for more than 17 years.
Tecnópole’s unwavering commitment to high-quality scientific dissemination activities is backed by the success of Galiciencia, Aulas Tecnópole, STEAM Kids Tecnópole, T2W, Women’s Science and Technology and Aula Newton Galicia, six permanent scientific and technological dissemination activities aimed at Galician youngsters with the main purpose of fostering scientific vocation and entrepreneurship.
